Een poosje terug heb ik een pocketboekje veranderd in een soort van foto-/notitiestandaard. Afgelopen week heb ik dit nog eens geprobeerd, maar nu in een heel andere kleur: mijn lievelingskleur, paars. Some time ago I changed a pocketbook into a sort of photo-/note standard. Last week I tried to do this again but this time in a different colour: my favourite colour, purple. De basis is dus het pocketboekje waarvan de pagina's in een aantal tegelijk zijn dubbel gevouwd en vastgezet. Hiertussen kun je foto's of berichtjes plaatsen of wat je maar wilt. De kaften vormen dus de bodem van de standaard. The basic of the standard is the pocketbook. The pages are folded in half and in between the groups of pages you can put some photo's or notes or whatever you want. The covers of the little book are now the bottem of the standard. Dit keer laat ik jullie nog een envelop zien gemaakt met de Dutch doobadoo mal.  This time I want to show another envelop I have made with the Dutch doobadoo mal. De basis van de envelop is gemaakt met Craft cardstock. Op het design papier heb ik gestempeld met distress inkt. Dezelfde inkt heb ik gebruikt om de bloemen en het lint op de achterkant te kleuren. Ook het kaasdoek is gekleurd met distress inkt. The basic of the envelope is made with Craft cardstock. On the design paper I put some stamps. I used distress ink. The same ink is used for colouring the flowers and the ribbon on the other site. The cheese cloth is also coloured with distress ink. De binnenkant van de envelop is ook bewerkt met design papier en hier heb ik een magneetje bevestigd waardoor de envelop sluit. Het was vandaag fantastisch weer. Samen met mijn man ben ik lekker naar buiten geweest, de zon in. Ondanks dat de temperatuur niet hoog was, kreeg ik toch al een beetje een lentegevoel. Na een heerlijk bakkie koffie heb ik nog even een kaartje afgemaakt. Een kaart met een knipoog naar de lente. Today we had fantastic weather in the Netherlands. Together with my husband I enjoyed walking in the sun. Although the tempature was not that high, I still sensed a bit of a spring feeling.  After we had a nice cup of coffee I finished a card I was working on. A card with the spring in my mind. Het is kaartje heeft verschillende lagen en is bewerkt met modelling paste. De afbeelding vond ik op pinterest. Een mooie bloementoef erbij en dit keer heb ik ook wat houten figuurtjes gebruikt. Dit weekend heb ik een explosion box in elkaar gezet met als thema 'Because you are you'. Een explosion box ziet eruit als een cadeau en het is zo leuk om deze cadeau te geven. Toch zeker met al je persoonlijke foto's en notities erin. This weekend I made an explosion box with the thema 'Because you are you'. An explosion looks like a present and it is such a nice thing to give as a present. Especially with you personal photo's and notes added to it! De box is gemaakt met dubbelzijdig bedrukt papier met op het deksel een bloemstukje en een tekst. Binnenin is nog een pagina verwerkt met veel pockets voor foto's en persoonlijke berichtjes met in het midden een klein boxje om een klein presentje in te doen. In een kringloopwinkel in Leiden vond ik twee oude wekkers, eentje van normaal formaat en een piepklein zwart wekkertje. Met dit kleine wekkertje ben ik aan de slag gegaan en dit is nu een heel schattig, klein hebbe-dingetje geworden.  In a store for used products in Leiden I found two old alarm clocks, one has a normal seize and one was a very tiny black alarm clock. I turned this very small alarm clock into a must-have thing. Het plastic voor de plaatwijzer heeft mijn man verwijderd. Vervolgens heb ik de wekker beplakt met oud papier (gevonden in Parijs) met behulp van mod podge. De bellen zijn bewerkt met gesso. The plastic in front of the hands of the clock has been removed by my husband. Then I pasted the clock with old paper (which I found in Paris) using mod podge. On the bells of the clock I put some gesso. Daarna heb ik de wekker helemaal gedecoreerd met bloemen, kaasdoek, wat kraaltjes en een stukje ketting. Ik heb het klokje een beetje een vi

Het maken van een 'card in a box' was zo leuk dat ik er nog eentje gemaakt heb. Dit keer met heel andere kleuren en een heel ander thema, nl. een geboortekaartje voor een jongen. I had so much fun in making a 'card in a box', so I decided to make another one. This time I used very different colours and a different theme. It is a card for the proud parents of a baby boy. Ik heb de Baby Bloc design papier van Joy Craft gebruikt op wit card stock. De beertjes zijn geknipt van papier uit dit blok. De ballonnen zijn gemaakt met een pons. I used the design paper 'Baby Bloc' from Joy Craft on white card stock. The bears come from the same paper. The balloons are made with a punch. Een ontzettend leuk kaartje om te geven bij de geboorte van een jongen. Ook deze kaart is plat te vouwen en te versturen in een envelop.  A very cute card to give at the birth of a boy. The card can be folded and can be sent in an envelope.

Met het papier van de Floral Paperbloc van Joy Craft heb ik een 'card in a box' gemaakt. Het leuke van zo'n kaart is dat je deze makkelijk in een envelop kunt versturen en dat het een heel leuk kaartje is om ergens neer te zetten. With the paper from the Floral Paperbloc from Joy Craft I made a 'card in a box'. Such a card can easily be sent in an envelope and it is such a pretty card to put down somewhere. In de kaart heb ik drie stempels verwerkt met bemoedigende teksten. 'You can do it', 'Never give up' en 'Always believe in yourself'. Verder heel veel bloemen, want een kaart van mij komt nooit zonder bloemen. Ik ben nu eenmaal gek op bloemen. In the card you find three stamps with encouraging text. 'You can do it', 'Never give up' en 'Always believe in yourself'. And also lots of flowers, because a card of mine never comes without flowers. I love flowers. Echt een kaartje om iem
